John K. Reichard - Principal Program Analyst

John has been employed at SEDA-COG since November 1994, starting as a Financial Analyst and has worked with several programs including Finance, Export, and PA SourceNet. John became a Loan Officer in the Finance Program in October, 1999, and became a Principal Program Analyst.   John's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Dickinson College including a year abroad studying at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. He has also received his Masters of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University.

Ray Haden - Senior Relationship Manager 

Ray returned to  SEDA-COG as a loan officer in February 2014.  Prior to this, he was employed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, working as an Assistant National Bank Examiner.  Ray originally joined SEDA-COG in September of 2008 as a Program Analyst in the SEDA-COG Finance Department for approximately five years. Ray has an undergraduate degree from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, where he majored in Political Science and Spanish; and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University. Prior to working at SEDA-COG, Ray had been a Financial Representative with American General Financial Services in Wilkes-Barre where duties included booking and closing loans, and retail credit analysis. Ray’s experience in finance also includes working for First Columbia Bank & Trust, Bloomsburg, PA, as a credit analyst, wherein he facilitated the commercial loan origination process of the Credit Administration department. 

Melodee A. Mensch - Program Assistant

Melodee joined SEDA-COG in May 2004, as Program Assistant to the Finance Staff.  She worked as an Accounting Analyst for 17 years at H. Warshow & Sons, Inc., working in Accounts Payable, General Ledger Programs, and Payroll.  Melodee has taken many accounting courses at Pennsylvania College of Technology to support her accounting background.

Kim Rettinger - Program Assistant/Information Specialist

Kim started with SEDA-COG in October 2008, as an Information Scanner. He worked in the log home industry for almost 15 years at Kuhns Bros Log Homes working in the Engineering Department analyzing data, scanning drawings and records and scheduling of workload. He has taken customer service courses and multi-tasks between multiple responsibilities within the department.

Jim McClure - SBA 504 Specialist for South Central PA

Jim worked in the SEDA-COG Finance Program since 1989 as a Senior Loan Officer, became the Director of the Program in 1996, and retired from the agency in 2010.  Jim came to SEDA-COG from the commercial finance/lease industry.  He graduated from Susquehanna University with an Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1982.  He currently serves SEDA-COG as an Independent Marketing Representative within the South Central Counties of PA administering the SBA 504 and USDA B&I loan programs.

Dan Rarig - SBA 504 Specialist for Northern and Northeastern PA

Dan was employed by SEDA-COG from 1985-1996, and was Director of the Finance Program during the last six years of his tenure. Presently self-employed as a business management and economic development consultant, Dan has over 35 years of experience working in financial management and accounting positions in the manufacturing sector, as well as employment with a nationwide non-bank lender and a merger and acquisition firm. Dan has an MBA degree from Bloomsburg University, and serves SEDA-COG as an Independent Marketing Representative primarily in northern and northeastern PA for the SBA 504 loan program.
