When you are exporting, it is vital to verify the potential end-user. In an effort to promote due diligence and customer screening practices, we are now offering an innovative program for client companies. The SEDA-COG Customer Screening Solution is an integrated program for small to medium-sized companies located in our 11-county service area. The Customer Screening Solution provides an easy to read compilation of any potential matches for a provided entity in report format.
A fee of $20 per entity screening will be billed to your company regardless as to the outcome of the screening. The screening will take place within two business days of being received at SEDA-COG.
Not sure if this is what you need? Give it a try - your first screening is free!

| SEDA-Council of Governments Export Development Program provides their clients with a service through the Team Worldwide compliance portal to assist with review of business prospects against the various Government lists provided and updated by the Department of Commerce, Department of State, Office of Foreign Assets Control and General Services Administration. All reasonable precautions have been taken to ensure that the information used to screen the names and addresses submitted is up to date and accurate at the time of screening. This screening is based upon information provided by clients of the SEDA-Council of Governments Export Development Program at the time of the request. Review is completed as accurate as possible based on the information provided and is only verified at the time of the request. Our organization cannot accept responsibility for any penalties, loss or damage arising from any errors that may occur during the screening process. The client should use this as a basis of assistance but should ensure they exercise “Due Diligence” and “Reasonable Care” in knowing the end user and use of their commodity, technology, service, or software. Clients who do not subscribe to a screening portal should check business prospects against all government websites at http://www.bis.doc.gov/complianceandenforcement/listtocheck.htm prior to any transaction. |
