Individual and Residential

Business Development Financing ─ Microenterprise loans, ranging from $2,500 to $35,000 are targeted to entrepreneurs and small business owners.  The great majority of loans are for start-up businesses.  Recipients are generally individuals; not fully formed established companies.

Housing ─ SEDA-COG has developed apartment buildings for senior citizens in several communities.  Look here or contact us for more information.  In many counties and communities grants for housing rehabilitation are available.  Contact us and we will send you a pre-qualification form or refer you to a local program administrator.

Information Technologies ─ If you and your neighbors want access to high speed Internet service, call us.  The Commonwealth has established a system requiring your phone company to make broadband service available.  We can help you get started and work through the process.

Regional Statistics ─ Good planning requires quality information.  Data on a range of categories can be found here, e.g., census, employment, demographics, income, housing.

Weatherization ─ Home improvements that save energy.  Services are offered at no cost to low-income individuals.  All homeowners are eligible for SEDA-COG's Home Energy Assessments, offered at a nominal fee.  We’ll pinpoint the sources of your home’s high energy bills, and provide information to help you reduce them.
