Business Development Financing Fixed-rate, long-term financing for new or expanding businesses.  Manufacturers and industries are eligible for financing.  On a limited basis, retail and service companies are also eligible.

Business Retention and Expansion ─ Meet with business professionals who will help you find the services and programs your company needs.

CORE PA Global CORE PA Global is an initiative established to increase the visibility of the 53 counties that make up the core region of Pennsylvania to potential investors in both the international and domestic arenas as well as reshoring prospects.  

Export Development ─ We can help your firm identify, develop, and succeed in foreign markets.  We offer information, special programs, and advice on domestic and foreign export regulations.

Government Contracts ─ Helping your company do business with federal, state, local and international governments.

Industrial Infrastructure ─ Access roads.  Water systems.  Sewerage facilities.  Grants for industrial growth.  Demographic, employment, and socioeconomic data for grant applications.

Geographic Information Systems ─ Mapping and data management for industrial development groups, private businesses, tourism agencies, and others.  GIS can be used for site identification, market analyses, and transportation planning studies.

Information Technologies ─ Private companies working with SEDA-COG’s business and industrial programs may purchase SEDA-COG's information technology services, which include website development, database and application programming, software development, and acquisition of broadband service.

Transportation Planning ─ Information about traffic patterns, roadway construction plans, and highway conditions.  SEDA-COG can also help if you are developing highway- and other transportation projects that promote economic development.

Rail Freight Service ─ The SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority owns five short line railroads, serving the counties of Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, and Union.  Freight service is provided by a private operator.  The Rail Authority can help rail customers prepare applications for the Pennsylvania Rail Freight Assistance Program and, in conjunction with rail projects, customers may also be assisted in seeking funds to redevelop abandoned sites. 

Regional Statistics ─ Good planning requires quality information.  Data on a range of categories can be found here, e.g., census, employment, demographics, income, housing.
