Short Description
60-year old facility is purchased from original owner
Body
The SEDA-COG Local Development Corporation has completed the financing of a $208,500
Small Business Administration (SBA) 504
loan for the purchase of a 28-lane bowling center in York, Pennsylvania. Michael and Linda Stock bought
Lincolnway Bowling Center
from Mrs. Stock’s father, who first opened it in 1956.
In addition to the SBA 504 loan, financing was provided through
M&T Bank
and equity funds. While the Bowling Center is nearly 60-years old, it has been regularly refurbished and modernized. Lincolnway was completely updated in 1990, and all the lanes were replaced in 1999. Recently a roof-mounted heat pump was installed.
Michael Stock has his own heating, air conditioning, and plumbing business, which he started in 1987.
