Short Description

Businesses can participate in a free government contracting webinar to improve cash-flow management and efficiency while reducing costs, cosponsored by SEDA-Council of Governments’ (SEDA-COG) Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC).

The Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) webinar will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 21. Those interested may register at

WAWF is a secure, web-based system for electronic invoicing, receipt and acceptance. WAWF allows government vendors to submit and track invoices and receipt/acceptance documents online, and allows government personnel to process those invoices in a real-time, paperless environment. It is also the only application that will be used to capture the Unique Identification of Tangible Items information.

WAWF benefits include:

  • Improves cash flow management
  • Eliminates lost documents
  • Reduces operating costs
  • Global accessibility of documents
  • Audit capability
  • Provides a free, web-based system

David Kern, small business specialist with the Tobyhanna Army Depot, will present updates to the system, registration on WAWF, and submission of invoices on WAWF.

Cosponsors are the Procurement Technical Assistance Centers of JARI, Northeastern Pennsylvania, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Southern Alleghenies Planning & Development Commission.
