REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
The Borough of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania requests “Statements of Qualifications and Proposals,” from Transportation Engineering Firms for “A Public Safety-Public Health, Environmental, and Transportation Study, through the Nine (9) Blocks of The Market Street Corridor (PA 45), in the Historic District of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.” This study, and its specific analyses, will address multi-modal public safety, public health and welfare, traffic movements, mobility, impacts to the human, built, and natural environments, and corridor protections and enhancements. The study will encompass the models and philosophy endorsed through established programs, such as: “Walkable Communities,” “Place-Making,” and “Complete Streets,” each of which advocates for a safe, healthy, walkable, and multi-modal business, educational, and residential community that fosters environmental stewardship and supports the preservation of historic structures.
Proposals shall contain the information specified, use the format described, and be transmitted in accordance with the instructions detailed in Sections IV and V of the RFQ document. (For a copy of the RFQ document, please contact Borough Manager, Lewisburg Borough Manager.)
Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 PM prevailing time, January 15, 2019, at which time they will be publicly opened at the Lewisburg Borough Office.
All hard copies of proposals, in the number specified in the RFQ, shall be: 1) accompanied by an electronic copy on a USB flash drive, and 2) sealed together with the USB flash drive and clearly marked on the outside with the following language: "Lewisburg Professional Services Proposal."
Hard copies of submissions, and accompanying USB flash drive, shall be addressed jointly to:
