Businesses can attend a free hands-on workshop to gain online resources for government contracting, assisted by SEDA-Council of Governments’ Procurement Technical Assistance Center.

 

The Internet Resources for Government Contracting workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 11 at the Innovative Manufacturers’ Center (IMC), 1127 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.

 

The training will be in a computer lab so participants can navigate and explore government Internet sites. It will feature state and federal government contracting Internet sites and resources.

 

Sites to be searched include:

  • Vendor registrations for state and federal contracting
  • Federal procurement forecasts
  • Federal sites for bids
  • Commonwealth of Pennsylvania bid notification sites
