Five transportation-related projects have been approved throughout four counties of SEDA-COG’s Metropolitan Planning Organization region in central Pennsylvania.

 

The Multimodal Transportation Program 2017 awardees were announced by the Commonwealth Financing Authority at its Nov. 14 meeting.

 

The Multimodal Transportation Fund provides grants to encourage economic development and ensure that a safe and reliable transportation system is available to Pennsylvania residents.

 

The following is the list of approved projects in the SEDA-COG MPO region’s counties:

 

Clinton:

  • UPMC Susquehanna: Lock Haven Hospital – Streetscape Improvements: $285,266 

Mifflin:

  • Lewistown Borough: Kishacoquillas Street Improvement Project: $340,000 

Montour:

  • Anthony Township: Stamm Road – T817: $155,473 

Northumberland:

  • Lewis Township: Warrior Run Boulevard Improvement Project: $314,316
  • Turbotville Borough: Church and Pine Streets Project: $299,476
